8 Month....Jumping Bean

Jump, jump, jump, jump.....and more jumping. You LOVE jumping and will jump anywhere, on anything, at any time. Your favorite is to have someone hold under your armpits and let you jump on their lap or on the floor. You will just jump and laugh for minutes on end. You have such strong legs and you love to give them a good workout. Just like I said the day you were born, you are going to be my little soccer player.

Your 8th month was a lot of fun. You had so many more new developments and new discoveries that it made each day more exciting than the one before. Some of the things you did this month are:

• You have learned that if you grunt, Mommy or Daddy will respond to you. Now whenever you want attention or want something, you will just continually grunt until you get it. It is so cute to hear you.


• You can't quite talk yet, but that hasn't stopped you from getting in yelling matches with everyone. You love to grunt or yell and if someone responds, you return the grunt or yell louder than they did. This usually continues on and on and on for a couple mins and then ends with you giggling.,


• You are becoming more alert and more interactive with everyone. You are so fun to be around and have such a chill/relaxed attitude.


• You still prefer your Daddy over anyone else. You get so excited when he walks in the room and will have a smile from ear to ear.


• Unfortunately, it couldn't be all fun and games this month. You had another round of Croup, but you were a trooper and got through it with minimal upsets. You and Mommy are starting to get a good system in place on treating Croup.

You are getting so big and so handsome!You, Daddy and MommyYou love to crawl by Lulu, around Lulu and even over the top of Lulu. You two are going to be the best of friends.You are really starting to love Grandma Barton's tub of balls. You have figured out how to pick up the balls and throw them. You just sit in this tub, throw balls and giggle.Look at that breathtaking smileYou and Daddy cuddling together on a Saturday morningYou got to celebrate Daddy's 27th birthday!!! You and Daddy are looking at the cake that Mommy madeYou are such a great helper! Especially when it comes to unwrapping birthday giftsHaving fun with Lulu.Could you get any cuter???You absolutely amazed me with your strength and intelligence. You crawled over to the floor vent and started fiddling with it. You then realize that you could pick it up out of the floor, which you did. The amazing part is that you put it back in the floor and then crawled away. Had I not been watching you, I would have never known you took the floor vent out and played with it. Such a smart boy.You love to be on the ground, mobile and playing with your toys.Mommy had a photo shoot with you one morning. You were just a happy baby this morning and I couldn't pass up taking pictures of your amazing smileYou are graduating to big boy food! You have a pacifier that Mommy puts food into and then you can bite and eat it. You started with bananas and ended with apples.Why take the time to crawl around something when you can just crawl through it? Instead of playing in the Exasaucer, you now love to crawl through it.This picture just makes Mommy laugh. You and the dogs can't wait for Daddy to throw the ball!You really enjoy walking and will always try to walk when Mommy or Daddy hold your hands.This is the first big snowfall of winter!You love when Mommy cleans the house, especially when she vacuums. You always try to play with the vacuum and will follow it all over the house. Cleaning time is one of your favorite times.You also really love when Mommy is folding laundry. You love to roll in the clean clothes and unfold the clothes that Mommy has folded.This is your favorite sleeping position. This is what Daddy and Mommy call your "Stinkbug" position. We will always come in to find you on your tummy with your knees tucked under you and your thumb in your mouth.Every year we go to hang out with Mommy's friends for the "Annual Friend's Thanksgiving." This year you got to come, meet and play with Carson, Brody and Bailey.Your 1st Thanksgiving!!! You are teething, can you tell? Look at that slobber!

We have had so much fun with you this month. You kept us laughing and in awe with you everyday. Thank you for the spirit you bring to our small family. You continually make Daddy and Mommy better people.
