The Party for Style (aka Stacie and Kyle)

Last night, Scott and I went to an engagement party for Stacie and Kyle. Basically what happened is all of Kyle's friends (including me) were able to tell stories about Kyle, so that Stacie would know what she is getting herself into. I knew that this was going to be funny, only because Kyle has a lot of different quirks about him. However, I wasn't expecting a song to be made up of him. You must get past the picture quality of my camera. It is a Aiptek and only cost me about $70-$80...so it is worth it. So, here is the video of Chris, Rick and Steve singing a song they wrote about Kyle. It is sung in the tune of: Of few of my favorite things, from the Sound of Music.

I wish I had the words to the song written down, but I don't. Kyle has a copy, so maybe I will have him forward it over to me.

There were a lot of different stories told about Kyle last night. I thought I really knew my brother, but was caught off guard when he told the "under water canoe" story.

We had a lot of fun last night hanging out with the whole gang again. Can't wait to see you all at the wedding!!!!

We are back in action!!!

I have the most amazing sister-in-law. Thanks to Charley, our blog has been saved!!!! I have told her that I will dedicate a post to her and when I have time, I will do that. Until then....thanks Charley!!!

I am an idiot

I have no idea how I have done this. Well I have a little bit of an idea. So here I am trying to be one of those extremely creative individuals that make such cute backgrounds for their blogs. I am thinking I am just amazing and I am getting my background all set up. In the instructions, it told me to go pick a certain kind of template. Yeah, totally think I picked the wrong kind of template. Now I am back to the basic Blogger. I don't have the tab for "layout" at the top, it only shows "template" now. So, I can't add anyones blog addresses back in or do anything. Ugh! Does anyone know how to get me out of this predicament? I have tried everything and can't figure out how to upgrade our blog, to the new Blogger!!!

This sucks!

#1, I am smart (That's for you Alex)

Souvenirs....What Could Be Better???

As most of you know, Scott and I went on an Eastern Carribean Cruise for our honeymoon. I must say, that it was spectacular. One of the best parts were trying to find souvenirs for everyone. We had the most fun picking out souvenirs for our cute little nephews. Brandon and Charley brought Gage and Carter over to get their souvenirs one night. As soon as they got their gifts, I got my camera and started snapping some shots. Enjoy!!!!

Here is my hot, tan husband and Gage with his souvenir (the beenie)

Gage, loving his new beenie (We be jammin')

Rockin' his new beenie

Doesn't get better than this

Carter with his souvenir (the rattle in his hand) and also with Gage's beenie on. Charley and I couldn't resist putting it on him. I know there is only one pic of Carter, but that is because he kept shaking his rattle and I could only get one pic of him still.

Jack Johnson

Okay, here is another post to catch everyone up. When Scott and I had returned from our honeymoon, he is so sweet and bought me tickets to the Jack Johnson concert. I absolutely love Jack Johnson and Scott and I danced to one of his songs at our wedding: Better Together.

Here is a self-portrait at the concert - we are great photographers!!!

This was about the best picture of Jack we could get. Trust me he is

up there.

Thanks to Alex, we were able to get a picture of us. However, this angle makes my knee look amazingly huge! Just call me big knee.

Here is the best part. Alex and her friend already had tickets to the concert, so we thought it would be fun to meet up. Alex and her friend (I am sorry I forgot her name, Alex) stood up in front of us. The best part....they stood exactly the same. Drinks in the right hand and the left hand in the pocket. Not only did they stand the same, but they were pretty much dressed the same! Hello twinners!!!!!! So, Scott and I thought it would be hilarious if he stood right next to them in the same pose. I tried to get the best picture I could of this, but I was on the ground and a little close to them. I am pretty sure Alex is going to get mad at me for posting this, but it is all for entertainment value. (Oh yeah and I think she told me that night not to post about this....oops?)

More posts to come...

Play catch up

We finally have the internet!!!! Oh happy day!!!

I figured that I was due for a new post. I have so much to catch everyone up on, that I think I will have to do little bits here and there. So, to start everything off....I will blog about our labor day weekend.

I have to cutest husband ever! On labor day, he left in the morning to run some errands while I got ready for the day. When he got home, he said: "Hey babe, come and see what Lulu did to the kitchen." As I walked into the room and looked in the kitchen (there was nothing wrong), he said "Oh just kidding, look at the table." I turned and looked at the table and saw the most beautiful arrangement of flowers in the Mikasa vase we got for our wedding! How thoughtful and sweet. I am a lucky girl.

Also, if you remember Labor Day well, then you will remember that it was rainy!!! Lulu was absolutely loving the rainy day and playing in the mud. I let her out to go to the bathroom and when she had returned at the door, she had mud on her face. Hmmmm, where has Lulu been playing!!!

Our Labor Day weekend was rainy, cold and fun! It was nice to have the extra day off. I am pretty sure we spent it studying (that is all we do now).

I will be posting more later!
